Abstract: |
An archaeological survey using aerial photography, magnetometry and visual inspection took place on the site to enhance an earlier desk-based assessment of the area. The results of the investigation noted that the site may have contained a medieval farm associated with the Scheduled Ancient Monument of Snelshall Priory. Other features were interpreted as a square Roman enclosure and occupation sites dating to the late Prehistoric and mid Roman periods.[AIP] |
