Abstract: |
<summary>A record was made of archaeological remains within the garden, prior to the construction of an extension to the house. The house is situated near the cathedral and adjacent to the site of the Roman south gate. The house at one stage formed part of the medieval Bishop's Palace. The work revealed solid masonry identified as part of the Roman enceinte. {italon}AIP{italoff} |
