Abstract: |
Investigation showed that medieval pits and quarries from the 11th-12th centuries were present in the western and central parts of the site. A 13th century soil deposit occurred further to the east.18th-19th century limestone buildings truncated much of the medieval deposits. Cobbled floors showed that these buildings served as stables. An undated stone-lined well was also recorded. [Au(adp)] |
