Abstract: |
The exposure of a series of foundations relating to demolished 18th and 19th century buildings within the Barracks complex allowed an examination of their depth and construction. None of the buildings located had cellars or basements. Further probable prehistoric features had been revealed on the site, cutting into the natural brickearth. These included three shallow gullies, two pits and an isolated post hole. [Au(adp)] |
