Abstract: |
The site of the watching brief comprised part of an 18th to 19th-century public house that lay within the medieval centre of Wotton-under-Edge. The deposits accross the site revealed episodes of truncation at the western end of the development area. The deposits within the beer garden appeared to have been mostly truncated, and did not demonstrate any signs of preservation of soils and occupation deposits pre-dating the 18th-century.[Au] |
