Abstract: |
A desk-based assessment was carried out on land where Bryant Homes were seeking permission to construct housing. Due to the presence of prehistoric sites and findspots in the locality, and within the site itself, it was recommended that an archaeological evaluation be carried out. It was felt that the likelihood of substantial prehistoric features was low, but that there was a good chance of smaller features such as pits and post holes survivng intact. There was also some possibility of Roman and early medieval remains. [Au(adp)] |
