Abstract: |
Monitoring of works for the construction of a single storey extension, revealed four pits cut into the underlying natural sands. Finds recovered from these features suggested a post-medieval date, but a Bronze Jetton from the soil and residual pottery from the features suggested that medieval activity was in the vicinity.
