Abstract:		 An archaeological watching brief was undertaken in advance of work to change the use of the Tithe Barn from agricultural use to become a dwelling. The work was undertaken due to Lindley Farmhouse and the associated barns dating back to the 16th century. The work monitored the excavation of floor surfaces within the barn and of service trenches and an access road to the property. However, no features of archaeological interest were encountered during the work and no finds unearthed. No further archaeological work was recommended for the site. [Au(adp)]
