Abstract: |
As part of the on-going alterations to Upper Hall, Ledbury, an archaeological watching brief was undertaken on the proposed site of a single storey extension, situated to the rear of the main house. No archaeological structures were uncovered by this work and the only finds recovered dated from the 17th/18th centuries. Adjacent to this were further groundworks which were located over the cellars. This identified the complete area covered by the cellars including a section of the cellar which had been bricked up and therefore had not been previously noted. [Au(abr)] |
