Abstract: |
The report concludes that archaeologically, although there are likely to be prehistoric remains within the general area of Thistlewood, there is no evidence for such remains within or in the close vicinity of the proposed development area. The medieval remains from any settlement associated with the Tower may lie in the area and that the archaeological context and spread of the human remains noted on the First Edition Ordnance Survey next to Thistlewood Tower are uncertain.
