Abstract: |
<summary>Archaeological recording during construction work for major extensions in the vicinity of the known Long Gallery (East Range) attached to No 5 Pottergate revealed part of a limestone wall or foundation, probably associated with the west wall of the East Range. Several pits, probably the result of quarrying activity, were recorded, with a fill comprising debris which may have come from the demolition of the East Range in 1764. {italon}AIP{italoff}{spacea} |
