Abstract: |
An archaeological evaluation by trial trenching (2 x 30m by 1.5m, 4 x 15 by 1.5m) was carried out over part of 4.2ha of land near Kirby Lane prior to the development of a recreational ground. A sample of the area was subjected to trial trenching and potential archaeological features revealed by a previous geophysical survey were tested. No significant archaeology was revealed. [Au(adp)] |
