Abstract: |
An archaeological test-pit was excavated through the floor of the Pilgrim's Hall to ascertain the character of the underlying deposits. The pit was stopped at a depth of 1.20 metres for reasons of safety. All the encountered deposits were of modern origin. In addition, two boreholes were sunk to a depth of 4 metres to investigate the underlying geology.[Au] |
