Abstract: |
The watching brief was undertaken during the construction of an extension to the rear of the Old Vicarage. The site lay within an area of medieval interest, close to the medieval defensive watercourses. A 1.2 metre deep brick lined well was identified close to the rear of the standing building, dated to the 19th century by pottery. No other archaeological features were identified and no finds recovered. [AIP] |
