Abstract: |
As a condition of extraction operations at Watersaw Lake, an archaeological watching brief was carried out in order to monitor the machine stripping of c.3ha of topsoil. No archaeological features were identified during the course of the watching brief. It was apparent that previous mining activity had disturbed the whole of the extension area, not just the area of previous surface mining activity. [Au(adp)] |
