Abstract: |
Seven trial trenches were excavated to determine the limits of ironstone quarrying prior to the resubmission of a bid to the Heritage Lottery Fund for a Heritage Park at Irchester. No substantial archaeological remains were encountered. The trenches confirmed the limits of modern quarrying suggested by earlier geophysical survey. [Au(abr)] |
