Abstract: |
Observation of terracing and construction trenches associated with the rebuilding of 'Crossways' revealed only natural Upper Chalk, sealed by thin downland soils. No features or deposits of archaeological significance were exposed, although a small quantity of prehistoric flint work was recovered from the soil deposits. [Au(abr)] |
