Abstract: |
No known archaeological sites or finds were recorded within the proposal area. Possible Bronze Age barrows were located within 1km of the site, and a Mesolithic flint scraper was found within the 100m of the north-west corner indicating that there was some prehistoric activity taking place in the area. It was likely that the ground within the footprint of the main buildings had been significantly disturbed. There was thought to be archaeological deposits related to the springs within the proposed development area. [Au(abr)] |
