Abstract: |
The only features discovered were interpreted as garden features and a pit created by tree root disturbance. Without excavating a larger sample than can be justified in an archaeological evaluation it was impossible to be completely confident that the negative result was representative. However the lack of any important structural features was confirmed by the absence of any medieval finds, both of which were common on an adjacent site excavated in 1994. [Au(adp)] |
