Abstract: |
An evaluation was carried out at a proposed site of redevelopment and enlargement at a school, which lay 400m from a series of cropmarks of possible prehistoric date. The site lay across the River Arrow from the Roman town of Alcester. During the evaluation, a ditch containing a sherd of Romano-British pottery was recorded. This was probably a field boundary. A shallow gully containing a fragment of medieval or early post-medieval roof tile may have been associated with ridge and furrow. [Au(adp)] |
