Abstract: |
<summary>Following the clearance of woody undergrowth from the monuments, the three barrows underwent a second stage of works, comprising a contour survey. Readings were taken every 0.5 and 1.0 metres. Two of the three definitely appeared to have been opened from the top. All three were reported to have had their central cores excavated in the 1860s. {italon}AIP{italoff}{spacea} |
