Abstract: |
The evaluation recorded three Roman ditches in three of the trenches within the Scheduled area. In a trench immediately outside the Scheduled area, to the east of the current dwelling, a Roman wall with an associated floor and deposits were recorded. One of the ditches was identified during the geophysical survey. The other features recorded in the geophysical survey appeared to be the modern domestic water main. [Au(abr)] |
