Abstract:
An evaluation was carried out at a site which was to be sold for development. Roman roof-tile and abraded pottery had been found at an adjacent site, and two further pieces of Roman tile had been recovered to the west. During the evaluation, a small sherd of Roman pottery and a post-medieval sherd were recovered, but no archaeological features were identified. [AIP]
