Abstract: |
Four trenches were hand dug on an open plot at the northern end of the High Street of the planned medieval town of Pensford prior to a planning application for housing. Nothing earlier than the 18th century was found. What was found included an 18th century yard surface, a flanking wall, probably for an outhouse, and a cess pit. [Au] |
