Abstract: |
An archaeological watching brief revealed a single pit of Neolithic date with an associated assemblage of grooved ware pottery and worked flint. A background scatter of flint was also recorded but no further evidence of Prehistoric activity on the site was observed. Further activity of late medieval and post-medieval date was represented by a structure consisting of post holes, floor surfaces, and a sleeper beam trench. In addition ditches, pits, post holes and further surfaces were recorded. [Au(abr)] |
