Abstract: |
An assessment was undertaken in response to the West Central Route Development which ran from the Redheugh Bridge in the south to its northern terminus at Gallowgate, following the present line of Blenheim Street. Based on the results of the assessment it was recommended that evaluation trenches be positioned to investigate the positions of various elements of Hadrian's Wall; and the extent and nature of medieval ribbon development along Westgate Road. A watching brief over ground disturbance was also recommended. [Au(adp)] |
