Abstract: |
An archaeological watching brief undertaken in advance of topsoil stripping for the formation of conservation ponds revealed a series of prehistoric features including flint flakes possibly dating to the Mesolithic and bronze Age, ten hearths, some featuring bone and Iron Age pottery, and three post holes, some with Iron Age pottery. A ditch like feature with irregular sides and a fill lacking inclusions was possibly a natural formation. [Au(AIP)] |
