Abstract: |
<summary>An evaluation was undertaken in order to establish the depth of deposits overlying the site, which had been outlined for a car park. Boreholes were monitored, an auger survey undertaken and three evaluation trenches excavated. One of the trenches was positioned with a view to establishing the depth of the cellars of the brewery which formerly stood on the site. The base of a demolished building was encountered and timber, presumably floorboards, recovered. {italon}AIP{italoff} |
