Abstract:
No evidence of dateable archaeological activity was identified on site, and no pre-modern finds were recovered. The area in front of the existing buildings had been seriously disturbed by modern activity which had cut into, and in some places entirely removed, the natural deposits. A gravel pit had existed on the site prior to the construction of the buildings in 1910.[Au(abr)]
