Abstract: |
The assessment identified the site as having high archaeological potential. Post-medieval buildings and foundations were visible on the site including a dovecote, which suggested usage as a manor farm. The site was also next to the medieval market and the adjacent field contained earthworks from medieval houses. A walk over of the site also produced Bronze Age flint and Saxon pottery. [Au(abr)] |
