Abstract: |
A desk-based study of the Scartho Top Development Area suggested that the study area may have contained a Romano-British domestic site. Casual finds of prehistoric and medieval date from within the area were not thought to reflect significant archaeological deposits, although an unexplained circular cropmark in the north-east of the site may have represented a prehistoric site. The area was also thought to possibly contain peripheral features from a medieval water mill and previous buildings of the site of Scartho Top Farm. [Au(adp)] |
