Abstract:
A possible Middle-Saxon pit and a possible early church boundary ditch were revealed by the excavations. The ditch was overlain by a series of probable road surfaces, probably of post-medieval date. The foundations of the churchyard wall were exposed. No human remains were found. The deposits in both trenches had been heavily disturbed by modern services. [Au(abr)]
