Abstract: |
Evaluation trenching was undertaken on a site proposed for a new burial ground. An irregular pit, probably a quarry pit was the only feature recorded. Finds recovered from the pit dated its backfilling to the 15th century. The overall potential was considered to be limited, but a watching brief was recommended in order to record any unexpected remains revealed. [AIP] |
