Abstract: |
The desk top study of the area indicated that the proposed development site lay within an area of historic importance. The street has documented evidence of occupation from the early 18th century. The field evaluation identified a substantial late medieval boundary ditch, and remains of buildings known to have stood on the site since the 19th century. Evidence for earlier occupation could not be confirmed. [Au(abr)] |
