Abstract: |
An archaeological evaluation was carried out. Three trenches were located over features identified during the rapid map regression exercise. While no definite remains of the properties or boundaries were discovered, a considerable number of features were found, such as, later medieval cobbled surfaces, post-medieval garden soil, a stone lined drain or culvert, a medieval pit, a post-medieval small pit containing a barrel, a foundation cut for a wall, a path and deposits of medieval artefacts and bone.
