Abstract: |
A watching brief on the site of a new road bridge over a rail line which was to form part of the Medway Towns Northern Link. The two phases of the project examined the re-routing of a sewer and two areas of stripped topsoil. Features recovered were geological and a reputed World War II anti aircraft gun emplacement was not located. One worked flint was recovered from the surface and a few clay pipe stems and modern pottery noted. [AIP] |
