Abstract: |
A watching brief was carried out during the excavation of pole-holes and a stay-hole for an overhead power-line, at a site which lay in the vicinity of a number of Bronze Age round barrows. The stay-hole was positioned against the base of one of the mounds, which was a Scheduled Ancient Monument (no. 116b). Part of a ditch cut was evident within this hole, but no artefacts were found.
