Abstract: |
The evaluation, consisting of a gradiometer survey and the excavation of three trial trenches, in the garden and service area of Lily Hill Park house, revealed the position of the ha-ha and a possible path in the garden but no other features. This was undertaken prior to the construction of a new extension and a car park. The service area to the north of the house was damaged by contemporary and modern services and no archaeological remains survived. [Au(adp)] |
