Abstract:
An evaluation was carried out at the proposed site of an office development which lay within an area of high archaeological potential, where substantial evidence for multi-period settlement dating from the Neolithic to the post-medieval period had been recorded. Post-medieval debris was observed during the evaluation, but no features or artefacts of archaeological interest were revealed. It was recommended that no further work should be carried out.
