The groundworks included excavation at the base of the wall along Cuts Road, Saxonburgh and Moorside. With the exception of the peat deposit revealed below the existing wall adjacent to Cuts Road, no finds or features predating the existing late Victorian stone-clad wall were encountered. [Au(abr)] |
