Abstract: |
Thirty sites of possible archaeological interest were identified along the pipeline corridor ranging in date from ancient field boundaries to geophysical anomalies and areas of post-medieval mining and quarrying. The farmland to the south of Ednovean farm was of possible prehistoric origin, whilst the land between Barlowenath and Goldsithney formed a well-preserved pattern of medieval fields. Overall there had been very little landscape change since the 1841 parish Tithe Awards. [Au(adp)] |
