Abstract: |
Observations were held over the excavation of ten soil test pits on land proposed for a business park. Nothing of any archaeological interest was seen. From the small area covered by the test-pits in relation to the size of the site, the absence of archaeological remains could not be taken as proof that nothing of archaeological interest lay on the site. A watching brief over development stages was recommended. [AIP] |
