Abstract:		 The assessment revealed the presence of prehistoric, Roman, Anglo-Saxon, medieval and post-medieval features and findspots in the vicinity of the study area, including possible pottery or brick/tile workings. The primary importance of the site lay, however, in its close proximity to a Bronze Age barrow cemetery including a scheduled bell barrow (SAM 12057) and a probable bowl barrow. [Au(abr)]
