Abstract:
The watching brief on the installation of culverts to house water storage tanks and plant and for the installation of the fountain pipe work in the front courtyard revealed natural brickearth overlying gravel cut by 19th century brick structures and the remnants of a granite sett surface. There appeared to have been much disturbance to the Front Courtyard area of Burlington House in this period. [Au(abr)]
