Abstract: |
An archaeological watching brief was undertaken during the excavation of a trench for the burying of overhead electricity cables. Despite the presence of obvious earthworks in the field, some of which were cut by the trench, the only archaeological feature seen was the metalled surface of a track. A small collection of artefacts, all of which were post-medieval were recovered from the spoil and the metalled surface of the track. [Au(adp)] |
