Abstract: |
Intermittent archaeological watching briefs were maintained during various developments within the country park. Although there were no known archaeological remains in the immediate vicinity the fact that the country park was adjacent to an early seventeenth century manor house and formed part of an earlier estate increased the archaeological potential of the site. Despite this, nothing of archaeological significance was encountered. [AIP] |
