Abstract: |
Observation of terracing and construction trenches associated with the replacement of a cottage revealed a series of valley-bottom deposits over Coombe rock. No features or deposits of archaeological significance were exposed. Although small quantities of prehistoric flint work and later post-medieval pottery were recovered from the upper soil layers.
