Abstract: |
The site lay on or near to the medieval town of Stonar, destroyed by the French in the Hundred Years War. Two metalled surfaces and associated layers were located, and were thought to represent a road connecting Stonar to Sanwich and dating to the 12th century. There was no evidence for intensive occupation of the area. [Au(abr)] |
