Abstract: |
The excavations incorporated five trenches which combined to make a total length of 78m, and were 1.3m wide. Undisturbed natural sand was encountered at an avereage depth of 1.0-1.2m. Only in one trench was an archaeological feature identified, in the form of an undated ditch. This may have represented a previous property boundary dividing the site. [Au] |
