Abstract: |
Geophysical surveys were made over two sample strips totalling 2.1 ha, on pasture stubble and set-aside land. The results provided convincing evidence for the presence of a linear double-ditched trackway, orientated north-south, with enclosures to either side. Of particular interest was the apparent discovery of a triple-ditched enclosure on a summit of slightly higher ground, within a stubble field near the centre of the proposal area. [Au(abr)] |
